Light Spectrum collaborations::
On display is a collection of paintings from the Quartz Art Tent, a collaborative interactive art space at Solstice 2013. They are available for purchase by silent auction. Take home a piece of the magic and support the purchase of more canvas for the Art Tent this year.
Sound Spectrum collaborations::
Ambient Jam: an improvised audio landscape comes together. Plug in your gear and join in the ambiance.
Tactile Spectrum collaborations::
Art Jam: clothing alterations. Remembering past years of oming in the forest. We have past tshirts available for sale to reshape with guided customization.
INSTALLATIONS
The forest and field have many destinations to visit and explore.

When planning your Art Installation, Deco or gallery submission, it is important to do a lot of planning and communication. Plan for transportation (to and from the site), timeline, budget, structural stability and safety, power needs, interactivity (the forest has ways of interacting), leave-no-trace: pack out what you pack in.

The Art Department is committed to Art at the Solstice gathering. Connect with us for all things regarding Art Installations, Art Tent, Art Grants, Art Gallery, pre-festival Art Jams. The Art Crew loves making art happen!
Art is a powerful force of communication and connection in our community. There are so many ways we can connect with art.
The Art Department meets and works before the Solstice gathering begins. Get involved at the Art Jams.
On-site we help artist members with setup of their installations. We offer grants to help members make their visions come to life. We also build, setup and maintain the Art Tent.
ART TENT
The QuARTz art tent installation emerges in crystalline form from the ground and sky! Help reveal the refracted light from within its surfaces as you see it with the pigments and tools available.
A dream catcher nest surrounds the structure to harness its spectrum of love and creativity.
Let's keep it all tidy. Tools and materials back in their place and the forest floor clean :)
ART CREW
The Art Crew is a team of volunteers dedicated to making the art happen in many ways! Art Crew is needed to help build and setup and decorate installations, stages, interactive areas, and of course follow up with tear down and clean up. Remember: leave-no-trace.
The Art Crew is always growing. If you have never worked with us before, it's not too late. We would love to get to know you and how you would like to contribute; there are so many ways.
GRANTS
We have money to help you with your art installation or awesome project!
All you have to do is have a great vision and make it happen. Let's start the conversation.
Grant applications are closed for 2014. Start planning for next year.
